We’re all about golfers pressing style boundaries to look less such as, well, golfers. But the Mizzen+Main button-down dress shirt Phil Mickelson has on during Tuesday’s practice round along with Tiger Woods (and Fred Couples plus Thomas Pieters) pushes boundaries in the questionable direction.
An ill-fitting gingham t-shirt screams, “I trade stocks upon Wall Street from 9 the. m. to 4 p. mirielle., ” far louder than, “I’m teeing it up at Augusta Nationwide on a humid, 90-degree day. inch Phil’s Mizzen+Main Kennedy button-down , which is drunk with a “Workday” logo and won’t fit quite right, is producing plenty of chatter.
Several notable comments from our Instagram posting above:
@johnc14 : Phil going to am employed at KMPG after the round?
@doraziojohn : If you have to play a practice round along with Tiger at 9 but you have got work at 10

@jordanshanks26 : All of the I see is Tiger and a good insurance broker
@trevorottman : Phil out right here reminding me to ask away for my vacation in 06. Thanks bro!
And, lastly, my favorite comment, through @andrewwoodhamgolf : Phil is a genius because him putting on that shirt has taken all the concentrate off of who he playing with! Many people are concerned with the shirt.
Touche, Andrew. Touche.
Even Tiger acquired something to say about Phil’s clothing.
