
AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) Butch Harmon has taught some of the greatest gamers in golf, including Tiger Woods , and mentioned he, like many, thought Forest would never play again.
Harmon told “ AP Sports activities Special Events” podcast co-hosts Rick Litke and Tim Dahlberg upon location at the Masters that he believes Woods will play well and may even have a chance of winning. If that occurs, he said, it would be a great reincarnation for Woods and golf by itself.
Harmon was the trainer for Woods when he converted pro and this week counts Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler amongst his clients.
Harmon said this Masters has an opportunity to be the best since1986, when Jack port Nicklaus won at the age of 46. He or she said the mix of young skill and Woods and Phil Mickelson could make it memorable.
Litke and Dahlberg also speak with AP Golf Writer Doug Ferguson, who says even if Woods doesn’ t win, who would have thought that all 10 months after the infamous law enforcement mug shot following his DRUNK DRIVING arrest that Woods would curently have a new and much more positive image.
The co-hosts also inquire Ferguson about his hot canine consumption, and why the staff members in the media dining center ensures napkins stay properly folded.
