Ian Poulter has best celebratory occasions, wins playoff to book last spot in Masters

Ian Poulter experienced the best chest-pounding celebration and now offers finally booked his ticket directly into this week’ s Masters.

Poulter made it a playoff against PGA Visit rookie Beau Hossler, winning the very first extra hole, the 18th, in the Houston Open on Sunday. Using the victory, his first in the United States inside a stroke-play event, Poulter received the final spot in the Masters.

The 42-year-old from Britain was told last week  simply by reporters — erroneously it turned out — that he had done enough  to be able to the Masters through his globe golf ranking by reaching the particular quarterfinals of the WGC-Dell Technologies Complement Play.

Poulter, who has performed well for Europe during the Ryder Cup, dedicated the victory in order to his wife Katie, who was viewing at home along with their children. “ She’ s been my rock the previous few years, ” he said. “ She’ s the reason I’ meters here. ”
